What is a hot-swappable mechanical keyboard?
A hot-swappable keyboard lets you remove and replace switches by hand, with no soldering, because the switches sit in sockets on the PCB. This makes it easy to try different switch types or replace a faulty switch. Several boards we track are hot-swappable, a useful feature for newcomers still settling on a preference.
